ok, ok, i realize that i have been woefully bad and not done anything...however, you're only allowed to spank me if your name is elijah, so back off or expect some claws in the face. i will post at least one new episode this summer, and it's time to find a new host for slb anyway, as homestead is simply not kickin' it. besides, i've been in london, and it's bloody hard to find scanners that are public access on this woebegone smoggy rock. and i want a wacom tablet. cuz then i can be cool like gabe and tycho of penny arcade, who have some supreme mastery of the webcomic medium going on. yes, i ended a sentence with a preposition, and i'll do its again, gollum, gollum. i think that the official word is indeed going to be a shift of format - but i'm going to go ahead and keep it full color, cuz hey. if life of riley and penny arcade can do it, then i consider myself no less up to the challenge. it'll probably be three/four panel, with occasional variances when i feel that i don't have enough for a story arc, but have more than enough for three panels. it'll work out. honest injun. AND, with complete and steely resolve, the likes of which only a succubus can procure, it's time to start putting some merch in the cafepress shop. i'm on it. delilah, get your ass over here and help a sistah out with some work, dammit.

in other news. london? not so pimping. once upon a time, i had vague delusions of living here post-grad. i see that i was wrong, and misinformed. i mean, don't get me wrong, the city is full of history, and has some really neat stuff going on, and that i can completely respect...but man, history's so damn dirty here. and it's so chock-full of (nuts) tourists that honestly, i think i'd be irritated all the time. at least in the vastness that is nyc, there's some distribution going on (see, another preposition. gollum, gollum). and i hate having to trample motherfucking crowds to get any place. the bloodstains are ridiculously hard to get off one's alexander mcqueen riding boots. ;)

lordy, i can't wait to get home to the u.s. one more week! ahahahaha...
